The Kenya Tourism Board recently hosted 16 travel advisors from the U.S. and Canada on a weeklong fam trip to Kenya. The agents chosen for the visit had all previously completed the Kenya Gold Advisor program, and were awarded Certified Platinum Specialist status at the end of the fam.

During the visit, the group explored four regions of Kenya: Nairobi, Laikipia, Maasai Mara and Watamu. The trip also included stays at Mutara Camp in Laikipia and Sanctuary Retreats’ Sanctuary Olonana in the Maasai Mara, among other camps and resorts.

“I’ve been bitten by the Africa bug and fell in love with the people and country instantaneously,” said Cheryl Sowder, a Cruise Planners franchise owner. “Everyone should experience this extraordinary destination once in their lifetime. For those who never sold Kenya or a safari: Please educate yourself on this very special destination. Your clients will be bound to you forever.”
